Directions: Directions The Ice Factor will have AA directional signage around York City Centre, so look for signs saying “York’s Christmas Ice Rink” to find our location.
From Leeds/A64
1-From Leeds direction, head to York on A64
2-Turn off A64 at junction for A19 (also signposted for Designer outlet) 3-At roundabout turn left signposted for York City Centre
4-Continue down this road (Fulford Road) for approximately 1mile, going through 2 sets of traffic lights.
5-At circular junction with Mecca Bingo on left, head straight, keeping in left hand lane. 6-As traffic is taken over bridge, The Ice Factor can be found to your right and St George’s Car Park to your left. Please see map for exact location.
From Scarborough/Malton using A64
1-From Scarborough/Malton, head to York on A64.
2-Turn off A64 at junction for A1036.
3-At roundabout take last exit signposted to York city Centre.
4-Continue straight on this road, keeping in right hand lane for approximately 2 miles. 5-After 5 sets of traffic lights, you will come to a T-Junction with one of York’s oldest bars facing you (called a Gate). At this point turn left.
6-Follow road round the one way system, keeping in left hand lane all the way round.
7-As traffic is taken over bridge, The Ice Factor can be found to your right and St George’s Car Park to your left. Please see map for exact location. .

Box Office Collections/Venue pickup: Tickets booked through Ticketweb can be sent to you by post. You can also buy tickets on site at the ticket office.

Age Restrictions: Age Restrictions: Children must be 16 and under to qualify for a children’s ticket.
CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 8 MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT ON THE ICE.

Wheelchair Access: :Wheelchair access is available, however please ring the office first for availability on 01653 619169.

Miscellaneous: • WEATHER CONDITIONS - The rink can operate in nearly all weather conditions. Please bring suitable outdoor clothing. This is an outdoor event and no refunds will be given due to inclement weather. In the unlikely event that the Event Manager deems it necessary to close the ice rink, alternative sessions will be offered for skating, subject to availability.
• There is a heated rinkside bar and café offering a selection of hot and cold food, a large choice of wines, spirits, beers, soft drinks and winter warmers. Please see www.theicefactor.co.uk for more information.
• Cloakroom facilities available on site
