Public Transport: All buses into the city centre are within short walking distance. The nearest train station is Birmingham New Street station but both Snow Hill and Moor Street stations are within a 10 minute walk.

To purchase tickets in person, O2 Academy Birmingham Box Office is open for cash ticket sales at these times:
Monday – Friday 12noon – 5.30pm
Saturday 11am – 4pm
Box Office Collections/Venue pickup: Any tickets booked in advance for venue collection may be picked up once the doors have opened for the event. Please ensure you bring the original card used to purchase the tickets and the booking confirmation number given as proof of purchase. The card holder will need to sign for all of the tickets.
General Policies: Smoking is NOT permitted in any area of the venue but pass outs may be granted after a specific point. Please check with the staff on duty for more information on arrival.
Age Restrictions: GIGS - Persons under 14 must be accompanied by a responsible adult over 18 at all times. Persons 14 and over can attend the show unaccompanied. Other restrictions may apply so please check your tickets.
CLUBS – All club nights are for persons 18 and over. Anyone who appears under 21 will be asked to prove they are over 18.
Wheelchair Access: There is a designated static area situated on the balcony level suitable for 6 registered disabled persons and their carers in O2 Academy Birmingham. For stalls only events at O2 Academy Birmingham there is a static raised area suitable for 6 persons and their carers.
In O2 Academy2 Birmingham there is a designated static area for 4 registered disabled persons and their carers.
There is no static area in O2 Academy3 Birmingham but provisions can be made on request.
The static disabled access areas are accessible using a lift. There are low level counters throughout the venue and access to disabled toilets will be with a radar key. Please contact the venue for further information.
Disabled Bookings: Disabled patrons must contact the venue Box Office Manager on steph@o2academybirmingham.co.uk to book tickets for the disabled access area. Please state the nature of your disability and any requirements you may have and please also provide a telephone number on which a member of venue staff can contact you in order to process your booking.
Miscellaneous: The stalls area is general admission, all standing. The balcony has 486 unreserved seating and room for 113 persons standing. As seating is unreserved if you would prefer a seat please arrive early. No seats will be reserved unless the event is stated as a reserved seated show.
In the balcony area, patrons are asked to remain seated at all times. If you wish to stand you can do so behind the seated area.
