Our address is:
49 Chalk Farm Road
We're on the corner of Chalk Farm Road and Ferdinand Street, opposite Chalk Farm Morrisons.
On the Underground:
The Barfly is on Chalk Farm Road, 10 Minutes walk from Camden Town tube and five from Chalk Farm. Both stations are on the Northern line. We're in zone 2 for those of you minding your travelcards.
The last tubes Northbound are around 12:45 am Mon-Sat and 11:45pm on Sundays. The last Southbound services leave approx 12:25 am Mon-Sat and 11:45pm Sundays. Most shows here at The Barfly will be finished by 11pm, so you will have plenty time to get to the station once the bands are finished, provided that one last pint doesn't last too long!

We advise ambulatory disabled patrons to contact the venue via email firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone on 020 7424 0800 to check availability of disabled and specific access seating before purchasing a ticket through any of our authorised ticket agents. The telephone line opens at 11:00 and closes at 17:00 and operates Monday to Friday. Please do not call outside of these hours as you will be asked to call back. Please note that no other query can be dealt with on this number.
Due to Licensing and Health & Safety Assessments, we regret the number of ambulatory disabled patrons that we can admit to the Venue is limited and we must treat all patrons on a first come first served basis. Once the venue has confirmed availability you can purchase a ticket through our event listings page or by phoning 0844 847 2424 and the venue will arrange for a free personal assistant ticket to be available for patrons who are registered disabled.

Please note that a ticket will not be sent out to your PA prior to the event. They will be available for collection at the venue Box Office when you arrive.

On the evening of the event, we advise ambulatory disabled customers and those with specific access requirements to arrive at the venue 15 minutes prior to the doors opening, accompanied, where required and approved in advance by a personal assistant over 18 years of age who will be admitted free of charge. The free personal assistant ticket is available to customers that are registered disabled (see above for details). The paid-for ticket needs to be booked in advance.

We're open from 3pm every afternoon for drinks in our downstairs bar, where you can grab a seat in one of the booths and help yourselves to some free wifi.
The bar downstairs is free all night during the week and until 10pm at the weekends. We have Djs until late every night of the week, so even if you're not coming to see a band you can still join us for a beer and a bit of a boogie if you're so inclined. There's more information over on the CLUBS tab.
We have crisps and snacks available to buy at the bar, but we don't sell hot food/coffees/dinners of any kind. There are restaurants of every type around the Camden & Chalk Farm area, though, so arrive early for a bit of an explore and we're sure you'll manage to feed yourselves something proper.
Generally, our gigs on Sunday-Thursday are 14+ and Fridays & Saturdays are 18+. The venue is strictly over 18 only after 11pm every night of the week. This is subject to change, please check before booking tickets.
We operate a challenge 21 policy at The Barfly, please make sure to bring ID with you to avoid disappointment, even if you think you don't look underage. We accept passports and driving licenses. We don't accept your oyster card, your tattoo or your mum vouching for you via mobile phone.
We accept credit cards at the bars with a £10 minimum payment, but are unable to take American Express. Ticket sales are cash only, but we do have an ATM in the venue where you can withdraw your hard-earned should you need to.
There is a cloakroom available during gigs in the week and all night at the weekend. It's a mere £2 per item for your precious belongings to be kept safe with us; trust us, it's so much better value for money than shoving your bag down behind a speaker in the bar and losing it. Which reminds us…
We do our best to retrieve and keep track of lost property, and found items will be kept for up to a month. Please be aware that we can't store people's lost belongings here for an indefinite amount of time, and that while we do everything we can to retrieve things that have been lost, sometimes stuff doesn't get handed in to our staff.
If you have lost something here on a night out, we advise you to get in touch with us as soon as possible and tell us what the item is, when you were here in the venue, and where in the venue you last had it. We should be able to tell you quite quickly if we have it and arrange for you to come and pick it up. Alternatively, come down and see us after 3pm when the bar is open and we'll have a look for you.
Our live room is standing only and we do not have any built in seating. However, if you are likely to find it difficult to stand for the duration of any show, please drop us a line and we will be able to arrange a stool for you to sit on during the performance.
Please note that the time printed on your ticket is the door time rather than the time the first act will be playing. Stage times for individual acts will generally be available after 3pm on the day of the show, please give us a call.
Curfew for shows is 11pm Sunday-Thursday and 10:15pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
Any requests for press guestlist or photo passes should be sent to the promoter of the show in question; but drop us an email if it's a MAMA presents gig and we'll see what we can do for you.
