at Didcot Railway Centre, England - South

The ‘Day out with Thomas’ event starts at 10am and operates continuously through to 5pm each day. The entrance gates open at 9.30am.

The entrance to Didcot Railway Centre is through Didcot Parkway Railway Station Subway and up a short flight of steps.

Car Parking

Parking is also readily available at two Pay & Display Car Parks opposite the Didcot Parkway Railway Station. SatNav OX11 7NN. (Current Weekend charge £2.00 per day). Parking is also available at weekends at other locations in the vicinity.

At the Railway Centre, “Thomas” will be in steam on the Branch Line; Thomas’s friends will be giving rides throughout the day on the Main Demonstration line.

A range of Entertainments and other events will be provided at various locations in the Railway Centre including a ‘Thomas’ activity area in the ‘Imagination Station’ These are included in your ticket price. A programme of the entertainment and events will be given to when you arrive.

A wide range of souvenirs and gifts will be on sale in the Souvenir Shop.

Please be sure to speak to the Fat Controller and have a very enjoyable and safe day with us.

Adult and Family Members of the Great Western Society are entitled to free entry and do not need a ticket.
