This apparently simple tale relates the activities of seven-year-olds on a summer afternoon. Willie tags along as burly Peter bullies Raymond and is challenged by fair-minded John. Audrey is over-shadowed by Angela's prettiness and wreaks her angry frustrations on the boys. All of them gang up on the terrified 'Donald Duck' who, abused by his mother and ridiculed by his peers, plays his own dangerous game of pyromania. Norbury Theatre presents Annie : amateur production
This heart-warming rags to riches story follows the life of a feisty young red-headed orphan called Annie. She runs away from the New York orphanage ruled by the cruel and embittered Miss Hannigan, and sets out to find her parents. After various mishaps, she is befriended by the wealthy Oliver Warbucks who eventually becomes her adoptive father.
The songs include "It's the hard knock life", "Maybe", "I think I'm gonna like it here", and everyone's favourite, "Tomorrow"
