After the sell out success of Abigail’s Party in 2009 and their subsequent tour which received excellent reviews - “Masterfully directed by Petina Hapgood who updated it and brought, it sizzling into the C21”. “Best damn night in the Theatre for Years” Goodmann Productions return to the Etcetera Theatre in April 2010 with their exciting, visionary and contemporary version of the classic play The Killing of Sister George.
A tale of celebrity, female passion, sexual Jealousy and ultimate betrayal. This is a production that will have you laughing and crying, sometimes at the same time. Come and watch the soap star versus the assistant Head of the BBC Mrs Mercy Croft.
Powerful and poignant performances are given as Petina Hapgood leaves her directorial role to play Sister George and Sue Ferguson returns as Mrs Mercy Croft.
A must see production. Book early to avoid disappointment.
