Tickets being scanned at an event

Q. How does ticketFast work?

A. Here's how it works:

Please read the terms and conditions, choose ticketFast as your delivery option and complete your purchase.

Following the completion of your purchase. you will receive two separate emails. The first will contain your order confirmation and the second will include your tickets attached in a PDF file format. All you need to open this file is Adobe Acrobat Reader, which you can download for free.

Save this attachment onto your computer. You now have your tickets stored and you can either print then out now or print them out later.

Take the your printed ticketFast ticket to the event and your this will be scanned on entry.

Have a good time.

It really is that easy!

Q. What are the benefits to choosing ticketFast?

A. Quick, convenient delivery.

You get your ticketFast tickets right away. That means there's no box office collection queues or mail delivery to wait for.

You print them at your own convenience.

You can forward them to your friends, so they can print their own.

Q. Do I need any special hardware or software to use ticketFast?

A. You probably already have exactly what you need:

Printer - Any ink-jet or laser printer - colour or black & white - with a resolution of 300 dpi or more is able to print these tickets. Use 8.5 x 11 (A4) plain white paper for best results. If you're unsure of your printer's resolution/dpi, check the printer manual

Adobe Acrobat Reader version 4.0 or higher, which you can download for free.

Q. Will this ticket be accepted for the event?

A. Yes, of course.

The ticket that comes out of your printer is a valid, legitimate ticket. Make sure you keep it in a safe place like you would cash and protect it just like you would any other ticket.

Q. What if I print more than one copy of my ticket or a photocopy is made?

A. Only the first scan of the barcode on your ticket will be permitted entry.

Make sure you keep it in a safe place like you would cash and protect it just like you would any other ticket. If more than one copy were to arrive, the barcode scanner will alert the attendant that the ticket has already been used and access will be refused. If there is a dispute, the purchaser's name appears on every ticket.

Q. Why isn't ticketFast available for all events?

A. Only venues with the required bar code scanning hardware can offer this as an option. We are working on increasing venue and event participation and availability is increasing every day.

Q. What if I cannot print my tickets?

A. First try the following.

Please check to make sure you have Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.0 or higher.

Make sure your printer has enough memory available, try closing any unnecessary programs.

In the printer window check the box that states "Print As Image", then click Okay.

A. Alter your security settings. The following instructions explain how to do this in Outlook Express.
