Tickets being scanned at an event
Q. How does ticketFast work?
A. Here's how it works:
Please read the terms and conditions, choose ticketFast as your delivery option and complete your purchase.
Following the completion of your purchase. you will receive two separate emails. The first will contain your order confirmation and the second will include your tickets attached in a PDF file format. All you need to open this file is Adobe Acrobat Reader, which you can download for free.
Save this attachment onto your computer. You now have your tickets stored and you can either print then out now or print them out later.
Take the your printed ticketFast ticket to the event and your this will be scanned on entry.
Have a good time.
It really is that easy!
Q. What are the benefits to choosing ticketFast?
A. Quick, convenient delivery.
You get your ticketFast tickets right away. That means there's no box office collection queues or mail delivery to wait for.
You print them at your own convenience.
You can forward them to your friends, so they can print their own.
Q. Do I need any special hardware or software to use ticketFast?
A. You probably already have exactly what you need:
Printer - Any ink-jet or laser printer - colour or black & white - with a resolution of 300 dpi or more is able to print these tickets. Use 8.5 x 11 (A4) plain white paper for best results. If you're unsure of your printer's resolution/dpi, check the printer manual
Adobe Acrobat Reader version 4.0 or higher, which you can download for free.
Q. Will this ticket be accepted for the event?
A. Yes, of course.
The ticket that comes out of your printer is a valid, legitimate ticket. Make sure you keep it in a safe place like you would cash and protect it just like you would any other ticket.
Q. What if I print more than one copy of my ticket or a photocopy is made?
A. Only the first scan of the barcode on your ticket will be permitted entry.
Make sure you keep it in a safe place like you would cash and protect it just like you would any other ticket. If more than one copy were to arrive, the barcode scanner will alert the attendant that the ticket has already been used and access will be refused. If there is a dispute, the purchaser's name appears on every ticket.
Q. Why isn't ticketFast available for all events?
A. Only venues with the required bar code scanning hardware can offer this as an option. We are working on increasing venue and event participation and availability is increasing every day.
Q. What if I cannot print my tickets?
A. First try the following.
Please check to make sure you have Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.0 or higher.
Make sure your printer is on and the cables are connected to your computer.
Make sure your printer has enough memory available, try closing any unnecessary programs.

Q. If you have not received your tickets after 48 hours.
A. Contact us for help you with your order.
Q. What if my tickets are stolen?
A. We can cancel and invalidate lost or stolen ticketFast tickets so just contact us and we'll email you the new tickets with a fresh set of barcodes.
Q. What if the background of my tickets prints but not the ticket information - the event name or seat details for example?
A. If this happens try this:
Open the .pdf file in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Select File and Print from the top menu.
In the printer window check the box that states "Print As Image", then click Okay.

Q. I use Outlook Express and I get a message that states: OE removed access to the following unsafe attachments in your mail: 1-23456/VAN.pdf. How do I open it?
A. Alter your security settings. The following instructions explain how to do this in Outlook Express.
Choose Tools then select Options and click on the Security tab.
In the Options window look for a statement that reads "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus", uncheck this option and click Apply.

Wording and placement may vary depending on your operating system.
Go back to your email and you will now be able to open the attachment.
If you want to keep this security option on for future emails, simply re-check the option after you have printed the tickets.
