Join us in the Royal Windsor Grandstand Suite at Windsor Racecourse for an unforgettable morning of world class rugby, before an afternoon of quality racing with a full card on this beautiful track. The British and Irish Lions take on the fearsome All Blacks in the pivotal Second Test, and we’ll be showing the match on a giant screen in the company of two rugby legends who will be providing half and full-time analysis, and sharing stories from their glittering careers. After a delicious three course lunch, guests can experience a cracking afternoon’s racing on one of the track's premier meetings of the year which attracts 10,000 people, with a complimentary bar in our Suite to ensure the day goes with a swing. Once the Suite closes, you are free to enjoy live musical entertainment for the evening with a top act to be announced. This is sure to be a brilliant day, one which your clients, colleagues and friends will remember for years to come!

New Zealand v British & Irish Lions:After their stunning triumph in the 2013 Tour to Australia, hopes will be high that the Lions can finally replicate the famous success of the 1971 side, who were the last to triumph in New Zealand. The All Blacks are undoubtedly the most feared side in world rugby; World Cup winners in 2015, they are world class in every department, and the Lions will need to perform at their absolute peak if they are to emerge triumphant. There is much to be optimistic about for the visitors, as there are so many world class players to choose from, with the likes of Billy Vunipola, Maro Itoje, Dan Lydiate, George North, Jonathan Sexton, Conor Murray and Stuart Hogg all vying for a starting place. Whilst there will be plenty of respect, the Lions players will remember very well the treatment that Brian O’Driscoll suffered in the last tour, and a few old scores may be settled.

British Lions Guest speakers: At Gala Events, we are proud to have great relationships with a whole host world class rugby names, and our speakers will be announced in the coming months. In the last few years we have worked with the likes of Lewis Moody, Phil Vickery, Martin Corry, Ryan Jones and Dean Richards, all former captains of their national side, and British Lions themselves. Our speakers for our British Lions Big Screen event will be former players of similar standing, with British Lions Test experience.

Royal Windsor Racecourse:Set in 165 acres of beautiful Berkshire countryside on the banks of the Thames and in the shadow of Windsor Castle, Royal Windsor Racecourse is the perfect place to be for an afternoon’s racing. The friendly and exciting atmosphere makes for a memorable and thrilling experience, and the views from the suite and balcony of the top floor of the Royal Windsor Grandstand are simply stunning, the very best the track has to offer. With many top trainers keen to test their horses at this famous old track, you can be sure to see some top notch performances, and hopefully back a winner or two in the process. Once racing finishes guests are welcome to finish off a great day on the lawn as a top music act takes to the stage for an evening of celebration.
