The story of The Hunna’s ascent has truly been one of a kind. Since forming in October 2015, the Hertfordshire four-piece have sold out four back-to-back UK tours as well as headlining sold out nights in Los Angeles, New York, Berlin, Paris and Amsterdam. With an army of online followers - including a staggering 250,000 Facebook fans - The Hunna’s debut album ‘100’ stormed the UK Official Charts last summer, landing at #13 and racking up 25 million+ Spotify streams to date; astounding for a band who are just getting started.

Born out of Watford, The Hunna first burst onto the scene with debut single ‘Bonfire’ and b-side ‘She’s Casual’ in October 2015. Fresh out of the blocks, this UK four-piece quickly became one of alt-rock’s brightest lights. Off the back of their debut single ‘Bonfire’, the band had soon sold out their first headline UK tour, including 3 nights in a row at London’s Boston Music Rooms. By the band’s second single, ‘We Could Be’, The Hunna’s music was making waves in the iTunes and Spotify charts on a global scale, with the four-piece now performing to packed out rooms across Europe.

With a fervent and frantic online support assembling - fondly know as the H-Squad - The Hunna were becoming a force to be reckoned with and announced the release of their debut album ‘100’ for the summer of 2016, a bold move for a band who had barely got off the ground yet. With this news, The Hunna also released new single You & Me, becoming an instant classic amongst their fans and attracting attention from BBC Radio 1, who dubbed them ‘Artist of the Week’ and were invited to play their marquee event, BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend. Following an unforgettable night at Camden’s Electric Ballroom and a maiden voyage to North America that summer - remarkably including sold-out shows at The Mercury Lounge in New York and Bootleg Theatre in Los Angeles - The Hunna proved their worth at a handful of the UK’s best festivals culminating in a massive end of summer party at Reading & Leeds on the Festival Republic Stage, sparking scenes that hadn’t been seen there since The 1975 graced the same stage back in 2013.

Against all the odds, The Hunna had now become one of the UK’s hottest breakthrough acts of 2016, this notion was further cemented when debut album ‘100’ charted at #13 in the Official UK Album Charts in August. A massive achievement for an act who were yet to celebrate their first year of being a band. Hunnamania was now in full swing and two more back-to-back tours of the ‘100’ album took in huge domestic venues such as London’s Kentish Town Forum and Nottingham’s Rock City, phenomenally seeing the band shift 35,000 tickets in the UK in the space of 10 months.

2017 is set to see The Hunna’s stock rise even further with their biggest shows to date announced, including a night at Glasgow’s prestigious Barrowlands and a huge homecoming show at Camden’s Roundhouse in May. With new music expected and bigger shows to follow, it’s set to be another huge year for the Hertfordshire four-piece.

The Hunna are: Ryan (Vocals/Guitar), Dan (Lead Guitar), Jermaine (Bass) and Jack (Drums).
