The Bronx

With a grand total of three eponymous studio albums under their belt, The Bronx have also recorded two albums of mariachi music under the alias Mariachi El Bronx. Very inventive. The band were formed in 2002, and when they’re not playing Mexican folk music, they’re smashing up stages with a bit of good old hardcore punk. Former Guns N' Roses member Gilby Clarke produced The Bronx's first release and played on "White Guilt", the first single off their second self-titled album which was recorded in a converted methadone clinic in Venice Beach and issued on Island/Def Jam in July 2006. Playing the Empire in Middlesboro this November, tickets to catch the band in action are on sale now! (Last updated: 21/08/12)
