James Taylor Quartet

Formed by James Taylor in 1985 following the break-up of his band, The Prisoners, The James Tayor Quartet were heavily involved in the acid jazz movement on the 1990s, but their roots lie heavily in jazz funk, which is where they have found themselves returning. The band, which features Chris Montague (guitar), Andrew McKinney (bass) and Adam Betts (drums) alongside James Taylor (Hammond Organ), are due to play an exclusive show at the Islington Assembly Hall this November, their first date in London for many years. Tickets to catch Europe’s foremost Hammond Organ player at this one-off show are on sale now! (Last updated: 02/08/12)
