We’re 10 minutes from the M25.
Leave the M25 at junction 29 taking the A127 towards Southend.
Take the A176 towards Billericay.
Turn right into Church Street, going through the village of Gt. Burstead.
Turn left at ‘T’ junction, after 1/4 mile turn right into Outwood Common Road.
Turn right into Outwood Farm Road and the entrance to Skirmish Wood is approximately 1/4 mile on the right (adjacent to an electricity sub station).
Proceed down the track to the car park (1/4 mile).
We’re 10 minutes from the A12 (Chelmsford By-pass).
Take the B1007 (through Stock), at Billericay turn left at the first roundabout into Potash Road
(signposted Ramsden Heath).
Turn left at ‘T’ junction then after 30 yards turn right into Outwood Common road.
Turn left into Outwood Farm Road where the entrance to Skirmish Wood will be found 1/4 mile on your left adjacent to an electricity sub station.
Proceed down the track to the car park (1/4 mile).
