'Free at last?' is an exhibition exploring the history and legacy of the European Slave Trade.
A central part of the exhibition is a replica slaveship 'The Zong' which will enter London on 29 March 2007 accompanied by Royal Navy Frigate HMS Northumberland. The Zong will moor in the Thames adjacent to the Tower of London & Tower Bridge.
Visit the Slave Ship: The 'Free at last?' exhibition will be open to the public between the 30 March and 9 April 2007; with timed tours beginning every 30 minutes at All Hallows by the Tower, 300 metres north of the River Thames. 'Free at Last?' is an experiential exhibition spread over 3 locations with short walks between; tickets include shuttle ferry transfer to The Zong slave ship exhibit. Tours begin at 9.15 each morning with the full tour of all three locations taking between 90 minutes and 2 hours.
